The Computer Networks Research Group (Gaia) is led by Distinguished Professor Don Towsley, with Distinguished Professor Emeritus Jim Kurose. Alongside network protocols, architecture, and measurement, the group has a long record of network security research, including covert communications, traffic analysis, and the security and privacy properties of networked systems. Work combines theory with experimental systems.
