Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Healy and Northeastern District Attorney David Sullivan visited the University of Amherst campus in October to kick off a new collaborative effort with the UMass Cybersecurity Institute. The Institute and the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General (AGO) have initiated an on-campus student internship program for undergraduate students at UMass studying forensics, security, and privacy. The program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) via its support to UMass Amherst as a Scholarship for Service site.
