Promote Cybersecurity Awareness

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts will host its first Cybersecurity Week from October 15th through October 18th.  Held during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Commonwealth wants to educate on key issues and combat the threats of cyber attacks.  UMass Amherst's Cybersecurity Institute will promote cybersecurity awareness with several events planned throughout the month. 

Professor Brian Levine along with 20 Scholarship for Service students will travel to Washington, D.C.  Students will visit with a group of cyber experts including agents from the FBI.    

The Institute will host several cyber professionals during the month.  All talks will be on Tuesdays at 2:30 P.M. and take place in CS151.
